Our Story

I wish I was a Potato

Our story begins with my brother and I wanting to introduce comfort food that is new and fresh to celebrate the diversity of cultures in our community. As we were brainstorming in the basement (where all great ideas come from), my brother shouts “potatoes” and continues to say “I wish I was a potato” we both looked at each other and I asked why potatoes? he said “well who doesn’t love potatoes and it goes with everything” BOOM!! we got to experimenting with different toppings and sauces. Fast forward a few years later ( as good things take time) we now present to you, Potato Bar!

Locally farmed

We have teamed up with local farms and work closely to ensure the potatoes are fresh and natural. It is also important to us that we help and support our local farmers. The unique approach of farm to table would not be possible without them.

 

Fresh-Est Fries in The City
We hand-cut our fries right in front of you from a basket of Burbank Potatoes and away from the freezer. 
Tip: If you tell us a potato joke or a fun fact, you can hand select the potato you want. Gooooo Pota-Toes.

 

Our Goal

We, at Potato Bar are looking to extend the "I Wish moment" to all of our customers as we hope to inspire them to be a “potato head”, to be creative and present the world with a touch of something inspiring, fresh and from the heart. 
 

We are extending that BOOM moment to you and your basement.
